How to Resize Multiple Images at Once With Photoshop

If you want to resize 10, 50, or even 100 images? You could go through the bunch individually than you are west your time. In this adobe photoshop tutorial, we will learn how to resize multiple images at once by using  custom photoshop Action.

Step 1: Set Up the Folders

Create two new folders, name the first one Original and the second Resize

Step 2: Create a New Action Set

To create a new action set to go to Window > Actions.

Step 3: Open Your Image

To open image File > Open,  From the original folder into Photoshop. Its original dimensions are 1560 x 1170 pixels.

Step 4: create a New Set

On the Actions panel, create a New Set for your action. Name the set Resizing Action, and hit OK.

Step 5: Create a Resizing  Action

Now click on the Paper button to Create a New Action

With your action now recording, Now go to Image > Size. Put your resize dimensions.

Step 6:  Time to save

You’re not done yet! Once your image is resized, it’s time to Save. Go to File > Save As, browsing for the Resize folder.

Step 6:  Stop Action

go to File > Close or hold Control-W to close out of the Photoshop file. And stop the recording.

Step 7:  Use the Automate Option

Now we can resize multiple images within a folder. To do this, go to File > Automate > Batch.resizzig-13

chose your folder and hit ok

That’s it! This action will now be applied to every image in that folder. Enjoy this action for your future projects or customize it to your needs!
